We're looking for a Software Developer to fill a newly created position within our Leeds office. We are a data consultancy that designs and delivers tailored solutions for organisations of all sizes and we are looking for someone who can work creatively within our team to shape the user experience of our market leading software

To be considered for the role you will need the following skills and experience:

  • 2.1 Minimum in Computing, Maths or related degree
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Experience in Web Design work with keen eye for web pages
  • .Net Framework
  • C#
  • JavaScript
  • CSS
  • SQL Server
  • HTML
  • Experience of working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies

About the role

As the Software Developer you will be responsible for primarily front-end, but also back-end, development of our toolset, alongside our vibrant development team. You will be passionate about the user experience, and keen to bring new ideas and concepts to the Product Backlog. You will have a keen eye for detail, a collaborative mindset and a drive to deliver great software. You will ensure the software follows current best practice and have your finger on the pulse of the latest developments and innovations in the sector. You’ll also ensure that all developments fit with the long-term road map of tool development.

You will be a team player, familiar and capable of delivering throughout the product lifecycle. You’ll be comfortable turning user requirements into technical implementations, and be able to articulate those implementations in non-technical language.
